Made at Tétro.
The visual identity of the Zü was inspired by the aesthetic and attitude of contemporary art in New York from the late eighties and early nineties, which parallels the punk-infused heyday of the original Osborne Village Zoo venue. This point-of-reference was chosen for its urban youthfulness, energy, artfulness, and expressiveness.

In line with the spirit of the overall brand character, a lot of design elements were hand-drawn or made and scanned to be used freely and expressively in various applications. This worked in contrast with the more rigid quality of the typography.
