The Uniter: Various Covers

The Uniter is the official weekly newspaper of the University of Winnipeg. Some editions of the Uniter have special themes and those will sometimes have a special cover designed and illustrated by local designers. I had the pleasure of designing three special edition covers for some of their feature stories.

The Uniter 30

The Uniter 30 is an annual feature celebrating the 30 best things about the City of Winnipeg. This cover references each of the categories that were in that year's list.

What This City Needs

This cover, which was designed to accompany a feature on an upcoming civic election, references the six mayoral candidates and a few of the key issues that voters were concerned about that year.

Streams of Thought

Every year, the Uniter releases an edition called "The Urban Issue" which features stories on various civic issues around a central theme. For this cover, the theme was "water".
